Shutter Speed Denver Release

Dustin Hall of The Brewtography Project, which has photographed more than 100 breweries, distilleries and cideries in Colorado, according to its website, has brewed a Baltic porter in collaboration with Metric Brewing. The brew, which features rum, raisin and licorice notes, will be released on Wednesday. Hall will be on hand to discuss it and copies of his book will be sold at a 20 percent discount.

2nd annual Gingerbread Invitational

Finally, The Intrepid Soujourner Beer Project is hosting its second annual Gingerbread Invitational in collaboration with Spice Trade Brewing. Activities will include a gingerbread house decorating competition for adults and kids and beer and cookie pairings. Donations of boxed and canned goods will be accepted for the Denver Inner City Parish.
