Now open at 2415 Michigan Ave. in Millenium Village is Cork & Gabel, a spot to score comfort food and more.

On the menu, you'll find a variety of comfort food dishes like the Guinness Stew with braised bone-in short rib, roasted vegetables and herb spaetzle. For dessert, try The Clock Tower, a no-bake layered cheesecake with pistachio ice cream and chocolate garnish.

Yelper Michael T. wrote, "The Guinness Stew was good and the chef's mom makes the bread. Everything is made from scratch."

Head over to 1400 Woodward Ave. downtown and you'll find San Morello, a new Italian spot. Yelpers are fans of San Morello: it's got five stars out of 11 reviews, so far.

Inspired by the cuisine of southern Italy and Sicily, this spot offers a large selection of Italian classics with house-made pastas and local ingredients, according to its website.

Try the black shells puttanesca with ruby red shrimp and calamari. Pair it with one of the restaurant's house-made cocktails or a glass of wine.
