Comfort food fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. The fresh addition to Millenium Village, called Cork & Gabel, is located at 2415 Michigan Ave.
On the menu, you'll find a selection of classic comfort food dishes like burgers, wings and mac and cheese. Try the Guinness Stew with braised bone-in short-rib, roasted vegetables and herb spaetzle. For dessert, order The Clock Tower, a no-bake layered cheesecake with pistachio ice cream and a chocolate garnish.
The new addition has gotten good reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Kirsten F. wrote, "I had the Guinness stew with gnocchi. The meat was really tender, the stew was rich and flavorful and the gnocchi was soft."
