The Amazing Acro-cats Slide into San Antonio!

First, feline lovers rejoice as the Acro-cats take over the Josephine Theater this weekend. The show features domesticated house cats who complete tricks—rolling on balls, riding skateboards, etc.—and even form an all-cat band and play real instruments. The kitties have been featured on national TV shows like the 2016 Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

ARTS San Antonio Presents Kenny Broberg, Classical Pianist In Concert

Next, award-winning classical pianist Kenny Broberg is performing on Friday at the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall at Trinity University. Broberg, who is only 23 years old, won the silver medal at the 15th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition for what the Texas Classic Review called "an imaginative shaping of themes, revelation of inner voices and an unfailing sense of momentum."

Noche Azul de Esperanza

Lastly, catch local musician and Esperanza Peace & Justice Center resident artist Azul Barrientos perform on Saturday. Born in Mexico City, Barrientos has incorporated political messages and highlighted social injustice through her emotional music and lyrics. Note that tickets are only sold during the day of the concert, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
