A new spot to score fresh coffee and tea has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Philz Coffee, the fresh addition is located at 3420 Bristol St. and comes courtesy of founder Phil Jaber, who traveled the world in search of  a coffee blend "that was flavorful, complex, rich, smooth and low in acidity," says the business on its website.

After 25 years, Phil's espresso empire — with outposts from San Francisco to D.C. — now features over 30 unique blends, with aromas ranging from dark cocoa and pineapple to tobacco and earth. (You can check out the full online selection here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of 79 reviews on Yelp so far, Philz Coffee is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Robert B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 10, wrote, "I really enjoyed the "Mint Mojito" and am still a little surprised. I thought the line both times went fast. The baristas are super friendly and attentive. They want to make it custom and dial it in for you so you are 100 percent happy walking away."

"I've been a big fan of Philz ever since I discovered it on a wonderful trip in San Francisco with my hubby," shared Yelper Katie L. "The coffee is always consistently good no matter what kind you order because they have quality beans and do a pour over."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Philz Coffee is open from 6 a.m.–8 p.m. daily.
