Yoga studios around the United States are designing tranquil spaces for students to find inner peace. These serene settings are an inviting place to achieve alignment in triangle pose or to start the day with a stretch into downward-facing dog.

Read on to check out the 10 most beautiful places to breathe deeply.

1. Prajna Yoga, New Mexico

Yogis can take inhalations and exhalations in this studio located in the high desert landscape of northern New Mexico, just 15 minutes outside of Santa Fe.

According to its website, the temple is entirely built from natural, nontoxic materials. Just as the students inside, the building is meant to breathe. On some occasions, it can even be seen entirely covered in snow.

2. Yoga to the People, California

Yoga to the People has several studios in New York, California and Arizona. At the San Francisco outpost, practitioners can perform asanas on the hardwood floors surrounded by exposed brick walls and enjoy the view out of the expansive windows while bending their knee to Warrior II.

Yoga to the People's philosophy is to make yoga available to everyone, and classes are donation-based.
