A new New American spot has opened in the neighborhood. Called The Fairlane, the new arrival is located at 292 Beverly Road in Mt. Lebanon.
Fairlane's menu is divided into three sections: snacks, small plates and mains. Snacks options include a cheese board and charcuterie, while the small plate offerings include salt cod fritter and caramelized onion tort. For the main course, try the fried catfish or the braised lamb neck. On Mondays, look for fried chicken and $7 Negronis.
The Fairlane has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of 13 reviews on Yelp.
Paul D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 12, wrote, "There were three of us, and everyone was very happy with their meals. Everything I tried was delicious, even the homemade hot sauces. Try the biscuits with miso butter."
Yelper Michelle R. added, “Amazing food, fantastic drinks, awesome service. Plenty of vegetarian options to try, and a great selection of beers and wines. Favorites so far: The Chai Felicia cocktail is absolutely delicious.”
