February Climate Reality D.C. Meeting
D.C.-headquartered non-profit The Climate Reality Project has chapters all around the country. At the February meeting, learn how to get involved in the group's ongoing campaigns. The location for the meeting is still to be determined, however.

New Developments for Climate Smart Landscapes Globally: Policy, Partnerships, and Finance
Thursday sees another climate-focused event, this time a joint effort to the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and landscape management group EcoAgriculture Partners. At this roundtable, experts from the FAO, the Word Wildlife Fund and the World Resources Institute will lead a discussion of "developments affecting the implementation and advancement of climate smart landscapes around the world."

Age-In-Place Volunteer Orientation

Also on Thursday is this orientation session for those interested in volunteering for Age-In-Place. The non-profit helps older adults stay living in their homes longer by doing the household chores and maintenance that the residents themselves find difficult.

2019 Equal Justice Foundation Live Auction
Finally, proceeds from this live auction hosted by the Equal Justice Foundation will go to support law students interested in spending the summer on public interest work around rule of law, due process and civil liberties. Refreshments will be provided.
