Denver-based human resources company Würk has secured $11 million in funding, according to company database Crunchbase, topping the city’s recent funding headlines. The cash infusion was announced February 12 and led by ARCADIAN Fund.

According to its Crunchbase profile, "Würk offers businesses with a range of workforce management tools and solutions, including payroll management, employee scheduling, and human resource management solutions. Wurk was founded in August 2015 by Keegan Peterson."

The four-year-old startup has raised six previous funding rounds, including a $1 million seed round in 2018.

The round brings total funding raised by Denver companies in information technology over the past month to $871 million. The local information technology industry has produced 33 funding rounds over the past year, capturing a total of $983 million in venture funding.

In other local funding news, employee benefits company Zestful announced a $1.1 million Series A funding round on January 29, led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

According to Crunchbase, Zestful has "re-imagined employee perks from the ground up to create a solution that’s equally powerful and easy to use. It doesn't matter if you're a team of 10 or 10,000 - You can create the perfect program to fit your needs."

The company also raised a $120,000 seed round in 2017.
