The Future Is Female

"LA OPOSICIÓN" AND "THE OTHER SIDE" + PANEL

Then, the Friends of the American Latino Museum is screening two short films "La Oposicion" and "The Other Side" on Saturday    at the Mexic-Arte Museum. La Oposicion explores immigration policy under the Trump Administration, while the latter film is the story of deported musician Jose Marquez and his daughter Susanna who have been separated for almost 15 years but meet every month on either side of the U.S.-Mexico border wall. 

In addition to the films, a panel of immigration experts and people who have lived the stories will discuss the current immigration climate.
