Come down to the Prytania Theater on Wednesday evening for the world premiere showing of "Monumental Journey," a documentary following Italian artist Franco Alessandrini as he creates and gifts a statue of Saint Pope John Paul II to the city of New Orleans.

Feminist Film Fest: A Night of Shorts by Women Filmmakers

Come down to Loyola University to view short films created by women. Filmmakers from all walks of life will present their works and prizes for best film will be awarded at the conclusion of the event.

Sangria Speaker Series

This three-part event will feature an update, a discussion and a documentary of the link between violence and mental health in youth in New Orleans.

The result of research done by reporters at NOLA.com and The Times-Picayune explores what happens when young people are exposed to violence. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
