A new spot to score ramen and more has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Silverlake Ramen, the fresh arrival is located at 615 S. Spring St. in Downtown.
This is the fifth location for the Southern California chain, with three more coming soon.
The spot offers salads, bowls, rolls and of course, ramen. Try ordering the Blaze with spicy creamy pork broth, bean sprouts, spinach, green onion, seaweed and shredded pepper. The lunch crowd may opt for one of the bowls, like chicken karaage with deep fried chicken, avocado, teriyaki sauce, spicy aioli and green onion.
Looking for a quick take-out option? Order an appetizer, like the cucumber crab salad, edamame or a pork bun.
The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp.
