A new Thai spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Spice Thai Kitchen, the new arrival is located at 1924 S.W. Broadway in Downtown.
Curries, pad Thai, stir-fries and pot stickers are on the menu. Try the crab wontons with cream cheese, crab flakes and onion, the Pad See Ew with rice noodles, egg, broccoli and carrot or the Thai style barbecue chicken served in a sweet chili sauce. (Check out the full menu here.)
The fresh addition has gotten good reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
My-Duyen P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 6, wrote, "We tried Spice Thai Kitchen for the first time today and had a really enjoyable lunch. I recommend trying the Pad Ke Mao and the Crab Wontons. Both dishes had great flavor. The Tom Yum Soup on the other end just didn't stand out to me. The staff here is friendly, and the service is surprisingly quick. "
Yelper Christina K. added, “This restaurant had great portions (appetizer soup was huge and fresh rolls were generous too). It was also very affordable and was very tasty. It might be my new favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I was impressed! ”
