A new fitness center has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 112 Westlake Ave. North in South Lake Union, the newcomer is called Barry's Bootcamp.

Barry's Bootcamp uses infrared lighting in the Red Room to set the mood, and a rotating regimen of high-intensity interval training and rest to burn nearly 1,000 calories per session. Different classes are offered on different days: an arm and abs-centric class goes down on Monday; a chest, back and abs class is offered on Wednesday; and an intense full body workout is scheduled for Friday.

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has already made a good impression.

Amanda U., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 3, wrote, "It's a great mix of cardio and strength which you alternate through for the 50 minutes of class. The trainers are also undeniably peppy and motivating. Best part of the whole class — The Fuel Bar. You can order a smoothie before class through their app, which will be waiting for you to grab when the class is done."

And Susan B. wrote, "The new Barry's is definitely worth a visit. The facility is new, spacious and the team is incredible and is jam-packed with amenities."

Barry's Bootcamp is now open at 112 Westlake Ave. North., so swing on by to take a peek.
