For all the mothers and grandmothers, fathers and family who have lost their children and loved ones to violence, Black Men United is hosting its 6th annual ‘No Murders in May' Mother’s Day luncheon and challenging the city of Omaha to have no murders in May. These tragedies hit home in individual communities and all across Omaha, and this event is intended to give back and show city-wide support to those who continue to grieve and feel hopelessness, giving them a sense of recognition, belonging and encouragement.

Autism Center of Nebraska Teen and Young Adult Hangout

From the event description:

Join the Autism Society of Nebraska-Omaha Support Network on Saturday for its monthly teen hang out. Participants will watch a movie along with the usual fun activities, food, board games, video games and crafts. This month's movie will be 'Ponyo.' Parents and caregivers can sign up to bring food and are required to remain present for the duration of the event to provide support and supervision to their participant.
