Artist Andrew Jensdotter is joined in conversation by MCA Denver Assistant Curator and exhibition curator Zoe Larkins to discuss his exhibition, FLAK. FLAK debuts a new body of work by Andrew Jensdotter and marks a turning point in the artist’s career. Jensdotter has created works that emphasize fragmentation, concealment and exposure, transferring his spray-painted compositions from plastic to canvas, as well as creating paintings using his signature technique of carving through hundreds of layers of paint.
