A new vegan spot, offering organic frozen yogurt and ice cream, has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Yoga-Urt, the newcomer is located at 2211 W. Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park.
The newcomer — with an additional location in Glendale — comes courtesy of founder Melissa Schulman, explains the business on its website, a native Angeleno who sought to create a new soft serve concept that would bring the "Namaste" into people’s lives.
