Creative Economy Meeting July 2019
From the event description:
This Creative Economy Meeting is for all creatives that either live, create, play or work in the city of Sacramento. Successfully in June, we as a united group came before the City Council, with kindness and integrity expressed our needs for the implementation of The Cultural Plan - Creative Edge, and we succeeded with $2.3 million allocated to the arts (hopefully reoccurring yearly). Many thanks to our creative community who called city officials and came to City Hall - your contribution was crucial, and thank you to those who thanked the council after the decision. We will hear what Sacramento Metro Arts plans to do with the allocated funds and how we should begin to focus on acquiring an additional $6 million from the measure U fund.
When: Thursday, July 25, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
