New Greek spot GreCo debuts in South BostonPhoto: GreCo/Yelp

Looking to chow down on some Greek fare? A new spot has you covered. The newcomer to South Boston, called GreCo, is located at 200 Pier Four Blvd.

The fast food spot features classic gyros with choice of chicken, lamb, pork, beef, squash, braised mushroom or pork and leek sausage. Salads, soups and build-your-own-pita sandwiches are also on offer, as well as Greek-style doughnuts.

The restaurant has gotten good reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Nick T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 2, wrote, "We ordered two chicken gyros with a horiatiki salad and loukoumas (mini Greek doughnuts). It was all tastefully served."

And Anastasia R. wrote, "I personally can live off their spicy feta, lamb, that zesty minty bulgur and pillowy, warm pitas. I always try but can never resist their crunchy oregano fries or zucchini chips."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. GreCo is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
