A new spot to score burgers and more has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 2715 Whittier Blvd. in Boyle Heights, the fresh arrival is called Barrio Burgers.
Barrio Burgers serves up artisanal burgers made with locally sourced beef, accompanied by housemade buns, sauces, pickles and chili seasoning. Menu items from the Brooklyn, with avocado, monterey jack and crispy tortilla to the Barrio Burger, with American cheese, barrio mustard and pickles.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Shannon H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 13, wrote, "The burgers were amazing: simple and savory. The chili is outstanding, flavorful and cheesy."
Yelper E. Alejandro M. added, “Everything from the fresh homemade bun to the actual preparation of the burger is perfect.”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Barrio Burgers is open from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekends.
