Soup Du Jour specializes in soups and stews; look for corn chowder with clam, chicken tortilla soup and sweet and sour soup with tofu, shiitake mushroom, wood ear mushroom, bamboo, egg and white pepper. Salads, spring rolls and flatbreads are also available.
Soup Du Jour has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
William L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 7, wrote, "I had the Avocado Crisp Salad in a combo with a cup of Albondigas soup. The salad was as crisp as advertised and the steak was juicy, cooked to medium. The soup was not too oily, leading to a lighter, more refreshing taste, and the vegetables had great texture."
And Victoria M. wrote, "Super clean, delicious, large portions, excellent service. All around a great experience. The beef stew was incredible — can't wait to come back."
