Hiring for sales representatives in Pittsburgh is going strong. Employers in the industry posted 98 new jobs over the past week and 392 in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local sales representative also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 108 companies listed open jobs for Pittsburgh-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local sales representatives is Financial Providence Group. "As one of the top final expense agencies in the country, Financial Providence Group prides itself on a culture of passion and commitment to both the industry and our team," according to one of the company's recently posted job openings.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include Window Nation. 

Window Nation also posted jobs for marketing managers, and AAA East Central sought drivers.
