If you've got Italian on the mind, a recent restaurant opening is need-to-know. Called Cori Pastificio Trattoria, it's at 2977 Upas St. in North Park.

The eatery specializes in authentic Italian and Sicilian cuisine, featuring small-batch, hand-made pasta. Dishes include penne broccoli e pesto, bucatini all'arrabbiata, ravioli di magro, potato ricotta gnocchi and more.

The upscale eatery has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp.

Dominico A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 24, wrote, "The food is amazing, with pasta dishes that will leave you thinking about your next visit. Try the salad, try the focaccia, try everything."

And A K. added, "What a gem to have in the community. Some of the best pasta ever, and the best service to go with it. A very welcoming place with photos and art from Sicily. We started with the fritelle cacio e pepe, then had the spelt cavatelli and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. All super delicious and wanted to have more of each dish."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Cori Pastificio Trattoria is open from 4:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Sunday and 4:30 p.m.–10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday. (It's closed on Tuesday- Wednesday.)
