Pizza X's New York-style pie choices (all 18 inches) include cheese, pepperoni, margherita and buffalo chicken, along with such limited-time offerings as chicken parmesan. It's a sister business to the Brewery X at the same site.
The newcomer has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of 21 reviews on Yelp.
Christopher C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the recent arrival on May 2, wrote, "Orange County's new best pizzeria, hands down... the folks formerly behind Sgt. Pepperoni's in Newport are turning out high-quality pizzas that absolutely melt in your mouth."
Yelper Rebecca V. added, “Ordered the buffalo chicken pizza online and OMG it was amazing ! It's pretty damn big and so so good. It also wasn't too heavy, so I didn't enter a food coma after eating."
