

Campbell Police Department (CPD) reported on their official Twitter account that they had arrested Jonny Miles, a serial burglar, following a series of six burglaries; indicating a pressing concern about recidivism in the criminal justice system.
According to the CPD's Twitter update, officers received reports of six burglaries and responded to one that was in progress, arresting Miles. Upon apprehension, Miles was found in possession of various illegal items, including a pry bar, stolen credit cards, brass knuckles, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
This arrest follows a previous arrest of Miles on 5/7/23, for burglary (6 counts in Campbell + 4 in San Jose).

This arrest follows a previous arrest of Miles on May 7, 2023, for burglary, which consisted of six counts in Campbell and four in San Jose. Furthermore, Miles was booked in September 2020 for 31 counts of burglary in Santa Clara County and was subsequently released in January of this year.
