An armed robbery suspect was arrested last night after a tense standoff at Oakland's Coliseum BART Station, which caused the station to be temporarily closed for hours and led to disruptions in local transportation services, according to a KTVU News report. San Leandro police tracked down the suspect with the stolen Hyundai at roughly 2 p.m. They then attempted to arrest him near the 14400 block of Washington Avenue, but the suspect rammed into a police car before escaping, initiating a high-speed chase, as reported by the Mercury News.
