
A suspect on federal probation was recently arrested for robbing a gas station of $600 with a fake gun in Milpitas, California, according to Henry Lee KTVU. The Milpitas PD was able to apprehend the suspect, who has a history of weapons violations and armed robberies, in this case, the robbery took place at a gas station on the 100 block of South Park Victoria Drive, and the suspect managed to flee the area in a black sedan, as KRON 4 reported.

Automated license plate readers played a pivotal role in the identification of the suspect vehicle, which allowed Milpitas Police Department to track down and arrest the individual in question. The arrest took place in San Jose, and authorities managed to apprehend the suspect without incident (KRON 4).
