Officer Sauceda of the Milpitas Police Department pulled over a 28-year-old male from San Jose for a traffic violation, according to the department's Facebook page.

Unbeknownst to the driver, his luck was about to take a turn for the worse, as Officer Sauceda spotted open alcoholic beverage containers in the vehicle, which raised suspicions, and upon further inspection, the situation quickly escalated. As a result, the driver was subjected to Field Sobriety Tests, which he subsequently failed. It was discovered that the driver had more than double the legal limit of alcohol in his system and thus, he was arrested for DUI (alcohol).

However, that's not where the story ends. Hidden within the vehicle, he discovered multiple bags of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The driver, already in hot water for the DUI, now faced much more serious charges as the find led to his booking into the Santa Clara County Jail for several narcotics violations, including possession of cocaine for sales.
