Jamille Lee, 30, stands accused of stealing approximately $139,000 worth of sunglasses from Macy's stores across the Bay Area, and now, his shady behavior has finally caught up with him, with his arrest at Westfield Valley Fair mall, according to CBS San Francisco.

During the span of his scheme, Lee allegedly raided high-end designer sunglasses from Macy's Men's stores across counties like Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara; his actions may even be linked to similar thefts in Santa Cruz County, as reported by Santa Clara Police Department's Facebook post.

The unraveling of this stylish crime spree began when two thefts occurred on consecutive days in June at the Macy's Men store in Westfield Valley Fair Mall, where the sunglasses were valued at $7,851. Santa Clara detectives took the case and soon discovered that the suspect was linked to similar incidents across other Bay Area Macy's stores, per the Mercury News.

Working closely with various agencies, authorities managed to identify the alleged sunglass bandit as Jamille Lee, a San Jose man who has been involved in five theft cases with Santa Clara Police and 17 cases throughout the Santa Clara County.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office went on to issue a $200,000 arrest warrant for Lee as a result of the 17 documented cases filed against him. He was eventually apprehended by the San Jose Police Department on June 20, after being caught stealing additional merchandise from Macy's Valley Fair located on the San Jose side. This brings the total estimated loss of stolen goods to a whopping $139,000.
