Bay Area Badminton Coach Arrested for Lewd Acts with a 14-Year-OldGoogle Maps

The Milpitas Police Department issued a press release today announcing the arrest of Phu Khuu, a 51-year-old Fremont resident. Khuu has been charged with a felony for lewd and lascivious acts with a 14-year-old juvenile.

Milpitas police officers investigated Khuu on the allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile victim on July 13, 2023. The victim disclosed inappropriate physical contact and sexual communication with Khuu. As a result, on July 25, 2023, Milpitas police officers and detectives arrested Khuu in Santa Clara.

During their investigation, detectives discovered that Khuu co-owns and coaches at Bintang Badminton, located at 746 S. Milpitas Blvd. in Milpitas. He is also a co-owner of other Bintang Badminton facilities in the Bay Area. It has been determined that the inappropriate physical contact took place at the Bintang Badminton facility in Milpitas.

Khuu was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on the felony charges.
