
A quiet night in East Village was shattered when a 38-year-old man was found brutally stabbed to death in his apartment, as police work to investigate this gruesome crime, according to NBC San Diego.
The shocking discovery was made late Wednesday night when the victim's roommate called the San Diego Police to report that he had found his roommate lying lifeless in their apartment, as reported on ABC 10News. The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, had sustained multiple stab wounds to his body, making it clear to investigators that a homicide had been committed.
While working the case, officers were approached by a distressed woman living in the same apartment complex who informed them that her boyfriend was acting strangely and violently, according to Fox 5 San Diego. This peculiar behavior led police to detain the boyfriend, as they noticed what they described as "physical evidence" that linked him to the incident, and transported him to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries NBC San Diego reported. Police are currently working to determine if he was involved in the heinous crime.
