A 28-year-old man was stabbed in the aftermath of a verbal dispute in an alley located in San Diego's Rolando neighborhood. The suspect managed to escape, leaving the police searching for the perpetrator who brought harm upon the victim.
As Times of San Diego reported, the victim was injured on Friday during an argument in an alley near the 6700 block of Amherst Street, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the victim with non-life-threatening injuries, but the ordeal nonetheless traumatic, and the community plagued with lingering anxiety about the lurking danger.
The injured young man demonstrated great courage and determination as, in spite of his injuries, he walked to Amherst Street and contacted the police, who arrived at the scene around 5:02 pm, as detailed by 10 News; the strong-willed victim was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
Now, law enforcement and the local community are grappling with the fact that the attacker responsible for this gruesome scene remains free, out on the streets; however, the San Diego Police Department, alongside the Mid-City Division detectives, is diligently investigating the stabbing, urging citizens with information about the incident to come forward and call 619-516-3000 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477, as mentioned in another 10 News report.
