Ever experienced that gut-wrenching feeling of showing up to the wrong place at the wrong time? One Oakland, California, man's mishap, consisting of mixing up the dates for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour concert at Levi's Stadium, has gone viral and gained him newfound social media fame.
Bay Area resident Bear Silber found himself at the concert venue on a Saturday, only to realize that he had purchased tickets for the Friday night show. This realization came after handing over $500 for the tickets, $60 for parking, and most importantly, holding his excited wife's hand in anticipation of the show.
His ordeal became widely publicized through TMZ, which featured Silber's story in a video titled "MASSIVE MIX-UP." The unfortunate turn of events led to Silber reportedly sleeping on the sofa that Saturday night. However, luckily for the couple, they received a sliver of a happy ending as Silber purchased another set of tickets for one of Swift's shows in Los Angeles. The tickets, which cost around $2,600, will be used by his wife and her best friend, as Silber cannot attend due to work commitments.
In an effort to make the best of the situation, Silber explained how he couldn't bear the guilt of disappointing his wife. "I knew tickets were legitimate, I actually purchased them through Ticketmaster, so I didn't have an excuse about whether it was a scam or not. I looked at my phone and that's when I saw Friday, 'ohhh this is not gonna be a fun night,'" Silber told ABC7 News.
