Recently, a prowling suspect was apprehended, largely due to doorbell camera footage taken from a Ring, via the Milpitas Police Department.
The incident took place yesterday morning, when detectives became privy to videos posted on Ring.com, displaying suspicious prowling activity at residences the previous night. The footage showed a man in a light brown hooded sweatshirt, lurking around the porch of someone's home. The diligence of the detectives paid off, as they recognized the individual and rapidly located him, making an arrest in less than an hour after identification.
