San Bruno Police Arrest Driver After Rampaging DUI Crash Involving 3 Parked CarsSan Bruno PD

Last night, a single driver wreaked havoc on the quiet streets of San Bruno, California by smashing into three parked vehicles on the 1300 Block of Kains Avenue, in what is believed to have been a DUI crash via the San Bruno PD. Shockingly, the driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol when the San Bruno Police Department (SBPD) arrived at the scene and, fortunately, no one was injured during the night's catastrophic events.

Earlier in the night, the San Bruno Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the driver, who was reportedly driving erratically. Regrettably, this intervention was insufficient to prevent the driver from later causing the collision, and the extent of the driver's intoxication during the initial traffic stop remains unknown. The unnamed driver was subsequently arrested.

According to a comment on SBPD's Facebook post, a woman who lives one block away from the scene of the collision heard the crash happening, noting that she was "happy to hear" that the police arrived at the scene within two minutes.

With summer drawing to a close – a time when many engage in social activities and consume alcohol – the police department reminds everyone to not drive if they have been drinking. Designated drivers or alternative means of transportation should always be sought to ensure the safety of all road users and to avoid potential legal ramifications.
