Around 11:17am on Tuesday, firefighters responded to a call for assistance as a small #vegetationfire erupted on the 22000 block of Cristo Rey Dr in the @cityofcupertino. It has come to light that the fire's origin was caused by a lawn mower striking a rock, according to SCCFD's official tweet.

From the initial report, it appeared that under a single acre was affected, contained by the unwavering efforts of both local firefighters and the assistance of @CALFIRESCU's helicopter 106. Fortuitously, there were no immediate reports of damages to nearby structures.
