Yesterday a series of burglaries occurred in the Fairmont, Westview, and Pacific Manor neighborhoods of Pacifica, where unidentified suspects targeted contractor and work trucks, stealing hand and power tools from the vehicles via the City of Pacifica. The burglars forced their way into the vehicles using tools to break in, causing disruptions and distress for the owners of the trucks and their respective businesses.

The Pacifica Police Department responded to the incident and began their investigation, noting that the suspect or suspects, who remain at large, seemed to operate between 01:30 AM and 06:30 AM on August 27. The department is calling on community members to assist in their search for the thieves, asking them to check their security camera footage for any suspicious activity during the hours of the burglaries and report any information they may have.

The Pacifica Police Department continues to encourage community members to immediately report suspicious activity by calling the non-emergency number at 650-738-7314, or reporting crimes in progress by calling 9-1-1. The Silent Witness Tip Line, available at 650-359-4444, offers an alternative reporting method, and could offer the vital information needed to solve case 23-2289 and bring the perpetrators to justice.
