Early yesterday morning, a diligent patrol sergeant in Foster City chanced upon a suspicious vehicle. The sergeant tried to follow the vehicle, but it sped away, racing into a residential neighborhood. Half an hour later, the authorities located the vehicle, leading to the arrest of the driver with an outstanding felony warrant, as reported on Foster City Police Department's Facebook page.
Upon further investigation, the officers discovered not only that the fugitive was wanted for a previously stolen vehicle, but they also unearthed hundreds of pieces stolen mail from Foster City and Redwood City, drug paraphernalia, and a worrying loaded rifle within his possession. With the culprit now in custody at the county jail, investigations into the stolen mail and the identification of the affected victims continue.
