Yesterday evening, the San Bruno Police Department's (SBPD) weekend crew responded to a series of suspicious activities. According to the SBPD's Facebook post, officers first responded to a situation involving individuals acting suspiciously in downtown San Bruno. This led to a foot chase, resulting in the arrest of a 20-year-old San Bruno resident and a 19-year-old Daly City resident for a range of charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Several hours later, the SBPD was alerted by the South San Francisco Police Department to be on the lookout for a commercial burglary suspect vehicle from their own jurisdiction, as reported on SBPD's Facebook page. Upon locating the vehicle, a harrowing high-speed pursuit began when the suspect refused to stop. Undeterred, law enforcement maneuvered spike strips, successfully disabling the suspect's truck just outside the vicinity of the Bay Bridge.

The responding officers were not alone in their efforts, as they received assistance from both the California Highway Patrol (CHP) - San Francisco and CHP - Oakland. Thanks to their support and teamwork, a 29-year-old Oakland resident was taken into custody with no injuries sustained by either the suspect or officers involved in the pursuit.
