Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will host the third annual Fall-O-Ween Children’s Festival in Boston Common on October 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., promising a fun-filled day for kids and adults alike. The festival is presented in partnership with the Skating Club of Boston and sponsored by local businesses, with additional support from the community, as per the City of Boston's official website.

The event invites attendees to don their Halloween costumes and participate in a wide range of free, fun, and spooky activities. The Boston Common Parade Ground at the corner of Beacon and Charles Streets will transform into a mysterious, family-friendly playground filled with a monster mash of games and amusements. Alongside the Funhouse Maze and Spooky Mansion Slide, festival-goers can try the Jumpin’ Pumpkin, a bean bag toss, and even explore Glow in the Dark Park, featuring LED swings, LED seesaws, and LED cornhole games.

Beyond the spooky playground, attendees can also enjoy music, arts and crafts, and treats, plus a trackless train for rides around the park. Field games, giveaways, and Halloween-themed LEGO building activities are all on the agenda, courtesy of Knucklebones and LEGO® Discovery Center Boston. As reported earlier today, Boston's public radio station WBUR will be on site, along with representatives from One Boston Church and the Celebrity Series of Boston to provide support and entertainment.

In addition to in-kind sponsorships from organizations like College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk and Moving, HP Hood LLC, and Xfinity, the Fall-O-Ween festival receives support from city officials and the wider Boston community.

The Fall-O-Ween Children's Festival, a treat for residents and visitors alike, adds to the impressive range of events, activities, and venues that make Boston a thriving cultural center. For more information on the festival, please visit the official Fall-O-Ween Children’s Festival website.
