An elderly woman, unable to care for herself, admitted to a hospital while the doctors and nurses witness her struggle without understanding her history. Her identity, a cipher. Yet, the Los Angeles General Medical Center now finds itself at the heart of such a situation, turning to the media and the public to help uncover the identity of this enigmatic woman they have had as a patient for two days now according to a media release.
As if she were the protagonist in a tragic novel, the woman is reduced to the name "Jane Doe" – an appellation given to those whose true identities remain a secret. She is approximately 70 years old, standing at 5 feet and weighing a mere 85 pounds. Her thin build and shoulder-length grey hair suggest a story to be untold as described in the media release.
For anyone with information in this case, the Los Angeles General Medical Center Department of Social Work urges them to contact Yen Sau or Cesar Robles at 323-409-4860 or 323-409-6884.
