On August 18, a 13-year-old girl was approached by an older white male adult who offered her candy and marijuana at a bus turnaround located at #1 James. She managed to get on the bus without further incident.
On September 6, Redwood City Police Department (RCPD) Patrol Officers stopped a man matching the suspect's description, and further investigation by the department's detectives confirmed that the individual - 68-year-old Alija Deltic - was indeed the suspect in question.
Yesterday, RCPD Detectives located Deltic at the same bus turnaround, leading to his subsequent arrest, according to the Redwood City Police Department.
Alija Deltic has been booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
