The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) arrested a suspect, Manuel Leon Valdez, after he exhibited a black semi-automatic handgun during a road rage incident.

The arrest led to the uncovering of a substantial cache of unserialized privately made firearms (PMF’s), ammunition, and related materials.

According to a press release from the San Jose Police Department, the event began on August 15, with Valdez brandishing a firearm during a road rage confrontation. This led to an investigation involving multiple departments, culminating in his arrest and subsequent seizure of several firearms and firearm-related components at his residence.

The findings included unserialized PMF’s, including assault rifles and pistols, ammunitions, a 3D printer, a firearm silencer, magazines, milling tools, body armor, and miscellaneous firearms parts.
