On Tuesday evening, a 32-year-old man was shot multiple times in the Teralta East neighborhood in San Diego. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the suspect, described as a 17- to 18-year-old Hispanic male in a grey sweatshirt and dark jeans, is still on the loose.

The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) reported that the victim was eating on the sidewalk at 4600 University Ave. around 8:24 p.m. when the young suspect approached him, leading to a verbal argument. Although the victim tried to walk away from the confrontation by crossing the street, the suspect reportedly shot him multiple times before fleeing westbound on University Avenue. Fortunately, the victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
