A 63-year-old woman is battling life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run incident in a Costco parking lot on a Friday morning in San Diego's Bay Ho neighborhood.
At around 10:34 a.m., the woman, who remains unidentified, was walking in the drive aisle of the Bay Ho Costco location, when an unknown driver struck her with their vehicle and fled the scene, leaving the woman with multiple bone fractures and internal injuries, as reported by Fox 5 San Diego.
The victim's condition remains critical, with her injuries considered life-threatening. Police currently have no description of the involved vehicle or the driver responsible for the accident.
The San Diego Police Department's (SDPD) Traffic Division has taken up the investigation of this heinous act. While the search for the elusive driver is in full force, the authorities are calling upon the public for help in this case.
