
On Wednesday, a harrowing incident occurred on Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa, California, where an unidentified white male pedestrian was struck by a black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck while attempting to cross the road outside of a marked crosswalk. The Santa Rosa Police Department stated that the man, estimated to be in his 30s, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police and emergency personnel responded swiftly to the scene of the accident, located just west of Dutton Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, a 70-year-old Santa Rosa resident, has reportedly cooperated with the ongoing investigation. As the prospection continues, authorities are seeking additional information from community members who may have witnessed the event or possess knowledge of possible contributing factors.
