On August 27th, amid reports of a sexual assault linked to a ride-share service, a second student from San Diego State University (SDSU) has now come forward with a strikingly similar, unsettling tale. A 19-year-old female, found herself ensnared in the very same horrors on August 19th while innocently searching for transportation in the college area.

The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) has already begun investigating both incidents, urgently working to link these strands of sorrow through their shared circumstances.

According to the SDPD, the assailant in the August 19th event posed as a ride-share driver, alluring the victim and her friend into his dark, vehicle. Once inside, he committed acts of unspeakable violence and dropped his victims off blocks from their destination.

The survivor provided a description of the assailant – a man in his mid-20s, possibly of Hispanic origin, with a heavy accent that was difficult to understand. He stands at around 5'8", with a medium build and "poofy" hair. On that night, he wore a dark-colored T-shirt, emblazoned with lighter letters on the front, and baggy basketball shorts.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the SCU at (619) 531-2210 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
