On October 12, Alfredo PrietoMartinez, a 20-year-old suspect, was apprehended for a severe assault on a passerby on North Railroad Avenue near Tilton Avenue.
The victim, who sustained mouth bleeding and a head laceration, was administered immediate medical aid by the responding officers, before transportation to a local medical facility, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
