Today, an arrest at the VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) was made for illegally parking and building a table in the Snell Light Rail Station parking lot.
Later, it was revealed during the search that the individual was carrying a loaded firearm, a drug-use related pipe, and a slim jim. The suspect was arrested preventing the escalation of the situation.
As per the info given by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, the charges leveled against the suspect include Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Stolen Firearm, Trespassing, and Drug Paraphernalia.
As the sheriff's office regularly urges VTA users to report any suspicious activities, it becomes imperative for the public to remain vigilant.
