A 19-year-old man, James Mumper Jr., received a 12-year state prison sentence yesterday, October 6, for the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old at a Chula Vista house party, according to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office.
With the admission to the personal use of a deadly weapon and three aggravating factors, Mumper Jr. pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
